La Grande Mare’s award winning restaurant has recently been refurbished and prides itself on having a warm and welcoming atmosphere that is appreciated by guests and islanders alike. Eating out is a national pastime in Guernsey and there is a wealth of fabulous local produce available from organic veg and Guernsey cheese to freshly caught seafood. Wherever possible dishes are based on island grown produce, whilst specialities of the house include flambé and rotisserie dishes. The hotel’s cellar houses an extensive list of wines, brandies and liquors.

La Grande Mare has built its enviable reputation on not only utilising our famous carving trolley but also the excellent flambé dishes, which are currently surfing on the crest of a new wave of fine dining.

For diners seeking a less formal ambience, the new Brasserie is the ideal venue.  With doors opening out onto the gardens and pool area, the Brasserie serves up a variety of light meals for lunch or dinner.
